Tulip bulbs, winter veggie plantings (broccoli, Brussels sprouts), gatherings to cleanup and prepare for the seasonal changes...the garden is a busy place this fall!
Hoping all families enjoy the seasonal fun this week! PTA will be collecting excess candy Nov. 1st - 8th. Many thanks to Dr. Rana Graham-Montaque (Pediatric Dental Specialists) for helping with this sharing effort!
All students got a chance to sample a tasty veggie from local farms on Wed, Sept. 11th. Many thanks to SHIP for providing this great program and a special thanks to all the kids who gave it a try today!!
Our Matoaka Living Wedge animals are looking for adoptions for the summer! Normally, our wedge club kids take them home for the summer but this year the invitation is extended to ANY budding naturalists at our school. The animals can go home starting June 2 and would need to be returned to Matoaka the week of Open House in August. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Spence (in person or via email: john.spence@wjccschools.org) for guidelines and availability.
