Childcare provided for children ages 3 to 5th grade. Contact Erin Otis if you plan to bring children. Everyone is welcomed to attend (you do not need to be a PTA board member)
Chick-fil-a Spirit Night 12/14 5-8pm
Join us at Chick-fil-a in the Williamsburg Monticello Marketplace, December 14th, 5-8pm. Wear your Matoaka tshirt and enjoy dinner with friends. A percentage of the proceeds will go to the Matoaka PTA.
Be sure to mention Matoaka Elementary School when you place your order!
Halloween Parade
Annual Halloween parade at Matoaka. Join us in front of the school to join in the fun! Don’t forget your camera.
Mystery Readers
Matoaka Dad’s will be reading to the classrooms.
Dads Breakfast
Dads – join your children for a light breakfast at Matoaka! Bagels, fruit, cheese, and coffee will be served in the cafeteria. Free.
Boxtops Deadline
Last day to submit your BoxTops. Please send them to school with your child. Be sure to write your teachers name on them so your class will get credit. The class that submits the most Boxtops will receive a trophy and a class party!
PTA Meeting 6:30
Please join us for our monthly PTA meeting. Everyone is invited to attend. We will be talking about the upcoming Harvest Festival, the Dads Club and many exciting events. Child care will be provided.
Locally Grown Food Day
Healthy Lifestyles and the MES Cafeteria will be providing locally grown fresh vegetables as a lunch option. Samples will be offered in line. Parents are encouraged to join their children for lunch.
