Our Matoaka Living Wedge animals are looking for adoptions for the summer! Normally, our wedge club kids take them home for the summer but this year the invitation is extended to ANY budding naturalists at our school. The animals can go home starting June 2 and would need to be returned to Matoaka the week of Open House in August. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Spence (in person or via email: john.spence@wjccschools.org) for guidelines and availability.
Thanks to SHIP, cafeteria staff, and PTA volunteers, on Wednesday May 22nd students got to sample locally-grown cabbage in support of healthier food choices!
Our awesome Kindergarten students got to sample fruit-infused water today as we demonstrated a healthier alternative to sugary soft drinks! Thanks to all for sampling our 2 blends: watermelon-lime and strawberry-orange!
